Lesser run, but regarded by many as the "prime time" for seabird excursions in California, given the concentration of cold-water species in our oceans. Spring Pelagics
Our speciality here in Bodega Bay, and our most regularly run trips. Seemingly always success boats which typically span between March-May, this trip is perfect to target both Murphy's & Hawaiian Petrels which can be extremely challenging to find in US waters outside of repositioning cruises. Autumn Pelagics
Though the most regularly run, these trips offer the exciting opportunity to look for migrating tubenoses on their southward migration to the southern hemisphere to breed. Species such as Buller's Shearwater, Short-tailed Shearwater and flocks of storm-petrels are regularly obsevered at this time of year.
